About the Role:
As the Verification & Validation Capability Lead, you will be responsible for managing and leading key processes including requirement derivation, Interface Control Documents (ICDs) generation, Statement of Work (SoW) generation, and the modelling of different Capabilities/Services for the V&V Test Facility. This role is crucial for placing requirements onto Suppliers according to the Typhoon Level 2 standard.
Core Duties:
- Manage internal and external suppliers in the development and costing of solutions.
- Lead the development of the ECRS Mk2 Test Facility Fixed Price Proposal.
- Support workshops with both internal and external stakeholders (Customer and Industry).
- Support requirement reviews with both internal and external stakeholders (Customer and Industry).
- Lead Engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) Design/Phase Reviews for the V&V Test Facility.
- Collaborate and develop working relationships with the Typhoon Radar and Avionic areas within the Business.
- Manage team delivery against a baselined schedule.
- Lead cross-functional discussions.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree/HND or equivalent experience in a STEM-related discipline.
- Senior Systems Engineering experience working across the full engineering lifecycle (LCM).
- Experience of DOORs.
- Management/Leadership experience.
- Experience of Avionic Test Facilities/familiarity with Electronic Warfare (EW) is desirable.
The ECRS Mk2 Support Solution Team:
Working within the ECRS Mk2 Support Solution Team / Electronic Warfare Solutions (EWS) offers a challenging and rewarding experience. You will engage with internal and external Customers and Suppliers during the early stages of the Engineering Lifecycle. The ECRS Mk2 Radar Ground Support Solution team is tasked with developing the System Definition for the Future Support Solution for the Royal Air Force (RAF), including generating a Fixed Price Proposal for a Verification and Validation (V&V) ECRS Mk2 Test Facility.
