Supply Chain Intern (Fixed Wing)

Boeing Defence UK is looking for an enthusiastic and high-performing Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Bristol. As a subsidiary of the Boeing Company, BDUK delivers exciting contracts for UK defence customers, including E-7, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, and more.

This dynamic role will expose you to a variety of end-to-end supply chain capabilities. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing day-to-day support and management for assigned parts, liaising with internal and external customers regarding demand priority and criticality for UK programmes.
• Utilizing reporting to address actions such as New Buys, Excess Requests, and Allocations, while analyzing Target Stock Levels, Consumption Data, and Condemnation Rates for individual parts.
• Working in alignment with contractual KPIs and supporting key supplier activities to develop best practices for effective contractual execution.
• Supporting Risk, Issue, and Opportunity identification and project management for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Reviewing all inputs into the demand forecasting tool.
• Supporting the UK sourcing strategy, including negotiating pricing and terms.
• Managing stakeholder relationships.
• Preparing and issuing contracting documentation, including raising RFQs, RFIs, and Purchase Orders.
• Managing supplier and functional performance targets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have the legal right to work in the UK. Boeing does not sponsor employment visa status for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently studying towards a Business, Finance, or similar degree, or a supply chain management related degree.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in IT, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations from data.
• Demonstrated drive, enthusiasm, integrity, and strong ethical values.

• This position does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
• This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must possess current legal authorization to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not provide immigration and labour sponsorship.
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Intrusive Security Clearance Process, requiring 5 years of uninterrupted residency in the UK prior to application.
