Summer Intern Digital Intelligence Data Researcher
Location: Great Baddow (Essex)
Working Arrangement: This role requires attendance on-site 3-5 days per week, with options for hybrid and flexible working.

Role Description:
As a Data Science Research Intern, you will engage with a variety of Data science research topics for clients across the defence, security, and commercial industries. The Data Applied Research group focuses on areas including reinforcement learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), knowledge graphs, graph-based neural networks, AI for RF and EW, sonar, and acoustics. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from experts in multi-disciplinary teams.
Your responsibilities will include conducting novel research in specified areas, often in collaboration with leading universities. You will also develop prototypes, proof-of-concept demonstrators, and prepare technical reports and proposals.

Qualification Requirements:
You must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 degree or higher in a relevant STEM subject, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Electronic/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering, or Physics. A Master's degree in an AI-related field is beneficial for future graduate roles. Demonstrating an active interest in Applied AI research is essential.
