As an SHE Associate, you will work closely with operational and business teams across Warton and Samlesbury. Your role will be instrumental in managing risk, supporting compliance, and promoting a positive Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) culture. This is a varied, hands-on position offering exposure to manufacturing, engineering, and business operations, with opportunities to make a real impact.
Core Duties:
- Provide professional SHE advice and support across operational and functional areas.
- Lead and support accident and incident investigations, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support risk assessment activities and promote effective risk management practices.
- Assist with SHE assurance activities, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Produce and maintain SHE performance data, reports, and management information.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of SHE management systems and standards.
Essential Skills:
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience providing Safety, Health & Environmental support within a business environment.
- Good understanding of hazard identification and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience supporting incident investigations and SHE improvement activities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
