About the Role
Boeing is seeking an intern to join our dynamic HR Services (Human Resources Services) team. This role offers comprehensive involvement in the majority of HR Services functions, supporting employees throughout their entire lifecycle with the company, from hire to retire. As a key member of the HRS team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees, engaging with them daily to assist with a wide range of general HR needs.
Beyond first-level HR support, this position includes valuable project work and continuous improvement initiatives. This internship provides an excellent introduction to the Boeing UK business and a thorough overview of the HR Services function.
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver HR Services and first-level HR support to employees, managers, and the wider HR community.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and processes for both the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional HR teams to ensure consistent and efficient execution of HR services.
- Support regional continuous improvement efforts and participate in key projects.
- Business travel to various UK sites will be required.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK. Boeing does not sponsor employment visa status.
- Possession of a UK driving license is essential, due to the requirement for nationwide site travel, particularly during university careers fairs season, which may involve overnight stays.
