About the Role
Rheinmetall Electronics UK Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Finance Project Controller to join our team in Newport, Isle of Wight. This crucial role provides essential support to Programme and Portfolio Management by ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and efficient ERP data management using SAP. You will be instrumental in maintaining financial transparency and control across all projects, ensuring strict alignment with the company's financial strategy and all regulatory requirements.

While Project Managers retain accountability for project delivery, scope, and schedule, this finance-led position focuses on data, reporting, and overall financial performance.

Required Qualifications
- Experience in project finance, project control, or FP&A, ideally within manufacturing or defence.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Proven ability to manage project financials in a complex environment.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Understanding of MOD accounting principles (e.g., RDEL, CDEL, VAT).
- Familiarity with project lifecycles and cost structures in engineering/manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Security Clearance for UK Defence Sector projects.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience supporting PMO or programme environments.
- Knowledge of defence or regulated industry requirements.
- Familiarity with earned value or project performance metrics (financial interpretation).
