Vehicle Maintenance Operative

About the Role
In this dynamic and high-impact role, you will be responsible for maintaining, operating, and driving Armoured Fighting Vehicles and other specialist platforms. You will deliver critical support to our contracts within a demanding environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform Level 1 maintenance and repairs to vehicle-specific standards, adhering to authorised procedures where training is provided.
- Conduct preparatory tasks, including minor repairs, cleaning, painting, and refuelling.
- Support the tracking of usage and conduct routine checks of stores and equipment.
- Manage the collection and delivery of vehicle platforms as required.
- Safely operate vehicles on public roads and off-road, in both day and night conditions.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 39 hours per week, based at our Bovington, Dorset site.
Essential Experience and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in representing the department in meetings and site visits.
- Experience with manual handling and physical working.
- Must be 21 years or older due to licensing requirements.
- Possession of a full manual UK Driving Licence.

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
