About the Role
Be part of the proving team ensuring Command & Control (C2) sub-systems are ready to enter service for one of our exciting projects! A C2 sub-system is the heart and brains of the weapon system; it must understand threats and manage engagements in complex, changing situations.
Working in the C2 domain at MBDA offers the opportunity to interact with all areas of the company, witness the full product development lifecycle, and deliver real capability to customers protecting their home nations.
Key Responsibilities
As a C2 Validation and Verification Engineer, you will support product development for the C2 system. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Supporting and producing the definition of C2 Test Scenarios and success criteria to ensure the C2 product meets its requirements.
- Producing appropriate verification plans to agree with the equipment Directorate of Airworthiness (DA) the method of verification used.
What We're Looking For
- Systems design/systems engineering experience in software-based equipment.
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience of SysML, Rhapsody, and DOORS tools would be desirable, but training will be provided where needed.

- Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience.
- Working Pattern: Dynamic (hybrid) working, 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Security Clearance
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
