About the Role:
MBDA is seeking a talented Interconnects Design Engineer to join our expanding Interconnects team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing bespoke electrical interconnects and cables that are critical for transmitting power, signal, and data within and between various subsystems in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret sub-system requirements and translate them into electrical schematics and cable design definitions using Microsoft Visio and HarnWare work packages.
- Conduct investigations into a wide range of cable problems and issues, developing and preparing effective solutions, either independently or as part of a project team.
- Provide essential support to the manufacturing team to resolve any production-related issues.
- Support functional and environmental product trials to ensure the integrity and performance of our designs.
