Cyber Security Analyst Operator
We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Operator to join our Security Services sector at the Fucino Space Centre in Avezzano (AQ).
Key Activities:
- Primarily responsible for security monitoring, security log analysis, investigations, and security incident management within the operational centers of an international program (Galileo).
- The role operates on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, 365 days a year.
- Perform security log analysis on GMS/GCS/GDDN and TSP/GRSP Galileo systems to identify potential security events.
- Liaise with operational and security entities within the Galileo project.
- Interact with the Telespazio corporate security department via the SIO.
- Notify potential security incidents to the GSMC.
- Handle security investigation requests received from the GSMC.
- Manage the implementation of mitigation actions required by the GSMC in case of a security incident (Security Incident Response).
- Analyze and manage security events highlighted by the SIEM.
- Perform event analysis generated by Full Packet Capture systems (e.g., Wireshark).
- Support the Lesson Learned process to identify and improve procedural gaps.
- Engage in continuous training and professional development.
- Occasional international travel may be required.
Requirements:
- Education & Seniority:
- Diploma in IT (ITIS Informatica) or equivalent technical specialization.
- Scientific diploma with experience in networking or cybersecurity.
- CCNA and/or CCNP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Technical & IT Skills:
- Good understanding of LAN-WAN networking fundamentals based on IP protocol.
- Knowledge of main communication protocols.
- Good knowledge of main server operating systems.
- Good knowledge of VMware and HYPER-V virtualization systems.
- Ability to analyze security logs.
- Good knowledge of network devices, addressing, routing, and VLANs.
- Knowledge of backup and replication systems.
- Basic concepts related to IT system threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experience with SOC control centers and SIEM applications.
- Familiarity with access control, identification, authentication, monitoring, surveillance, intrusion detection, and forensic investigation technologies in security.
- Knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing techniques.
- Basic knowledge of main algorithms and technologies for symmetric and asymmetric encryption.

Selection Process:
