About the Role:
As a Technical Training Instructor, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering high-quality training courses for new equipment and services.
- Conducting routine maintenance on training equipment.
- Providing initial identification and rectification of defects.
- Performing training needs analysis to identify practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborating with engineering and product development teams to gather technical insights.
- Attending meetings on behalf of the Training Manager to assess training implications.
- Managing key and crypto material accounts in line with security protocols.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, based on site at HMS Collingwood.
Essential Experience:
- Effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive and flexible working within a small, focused team.
Desirable Experience:
- Understanding of data communications or engineering.
- Experience working alongside UK military customers.
- Royal Navy or RFA communication or electrical engineering background.
Qualifications:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering Electrical / Electronics discipline.
- Experience in Telecommunications and/or Satellite Communications and/or CIS (Communications and Information Systems).
- Experience of installation, test and repair activities.
- Experience of operating cryptographic activities.
- Manual Handling: This role requires regular light to moderate lifting.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
