About the Role
Airbus Technical Data is seeking an innovative, flexible, and pragmatic individual to join the Fuel & Landing Gear Systems Team in Filton, Bristol. This transnational organization is responsible for producing and delivering Line maintenance products, including Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) for ATA 28 and ATA 32 cross-programs. Your role will be crucial in capturing design changes, ensuring manuals reflect aircraft configurations, and supporting customers throughout their aircraft's lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As an intern, you will work within an experienced and collaborative team on both new and in-service aircraft. You will have the opportunity to contribute to optimal solution development, own and drive smaller projects from concept to completion, and participate in an early careers community for professional development. Key areas of focus include:
- Identification of in-service issues.
- Definition of prioritizations and shaping solutions.
- Feasibility analysis and risk assessment.
- Configuration management.
- Continuous improvement initiatives for processes.
- Knowledge capture.
- Quality and problem-solving.
- Exploring future ways of working, including new integrated tools.
You will gain valuable learning opportunities and experience with a variety of toolsets, from bespoke Airbus tools to industry-standard engineering and management tools. Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent.
- Demonstrate interest in the industry and the role's subject matter.

- Awareness of programming languages and willingness to run scripts.
- Inquisitive and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Security Clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. Depending on the specific role, you may also be required to obtain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control.
