About the Role
Boeing is seeking a Support Engineering Data Intern to support our airline customers by creating concise and accurate technical documentation for the maintenance, modification, and repair of the Boeing commercial fleet. This role is based at our Welwyn Garden City site.
You will research and integrate engineering inputs using automated tools and authoring systems. We are committed to your professional development, providing training and mentoring.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables.
- Assist with the collection, research, and analysis of source data.
- Research and evaluate engineering source data and specifications.
- Develop or maintain technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance, retrofit, and repair.
- Coordinate the preparation of illustrative materials.
- Coordinate engineering requirements, schedule, and status with all stakeholders.
- Conduct quality and in-process reviews, including the validation of technical publications.
Hiring Details
This is a locally hired position in Welwyn Garden City. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level.
This position is hybrid, requiring some onsite work at Welwyn Garden City as determined by the hiring team.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Right to work in the UK. Boeing does not sponsor employment visa status.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with varying requirements efficiently and effectively.
- Solid IT and communications skills.
- Knowledge and experience of aircraft maintenance and repair.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
