Supply Chain & Quality Manager (d/f/m) - Aerostructure
Airbus Commercial is looking for a dedicated Supply Chain & Quality Manager (d/f/m) to join their Customer Services team in Hamburg. This role is crucial for managing the commodity Aerostructure and ensuring the performance and development of Airbus Customer Services suppliers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the supply chain and quality aspects of supplier contracts to secure optimal On Time and On Quality performance.
- Identify potential supplier industrial risks and issues, propose mitigation actions, and oversee the implementation of recovery and development plans.
- Assess supplier capabilities and coordinate operations to effectively support the After Sales ramp-up.
- Monitor New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW) processes to ensure industrial qualification maturity before the serial phase.
- Ensure supplier approval and compliance with both Airbus and EASA requirements, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to supplier evaluation processes during the tendering and selection phases.
- Coordinate interfaces across Multi-Functional and Divisional Teams and support interactions with subcontractors.
Your Profile:
- A degree level qualification (Master's degree or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or Logistics is required.
- Solid professional experience within the aerospace or automotive industries.
- Proven experience in supplier management, supply chain management, and quality management.
- Experience applying project management methodologies, capacity management, and lean methodologies.
- Practical familiarity with industrial audits and SAP knowledge is expected.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking, a structured working approach, and strong collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Advanced communication skills in English; proficiency in German, French, or Spanish is considered beneficial.
