Internship: Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance (H/F)
Airbus Atlantic is a global leader in aerostructures, pilot seats, and premium passenger seats. We are offering a unique internship opportunity for students seeking mandatory or gap year internships, lasting 4 to 6 months, to validate their degree program.
This internship, titled "STAGE 2027 - Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance (H/F)", will commence around February 2027 (flexible) and last for 6 months. It is based at our Méaulte site.
About the Role:
You will join a team of approximately fifteen people within the Quality Assurance department, responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our aircraft. Specifically, you will be part of the "Démarche de progrès" (Continuous Improvement) unit and actively participate in improvement projects.
Under the guidance of your tutor, your responsibilities will include:
- Deployment of digital control methods.
- Creation of digital applications and tools, assisted by our AI, Gemini.
- Digitalization of our processes and reporting (using management tools for data collection, analysis, and transmission).
- Adaptation of manufacturing methods to reduce deviations and non-quality issues.
- Reduction of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
Skills Development:
During your internship, you will develop skills in:
- Problem Solving and Quality Assurance: Identifying root causes for non-conforming parts and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Performance Piloting: Monitoring key indicators (quality, deadlines, costs) and updating tracking dashboards.
- Change Management Support: Assisting teams to facilitate the adoption of new standards.
About You:
You are currently pursuing a Bac +5 degree in Industrial Engineering/Quality (or equivalent) and are looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship.
You possess the following knowledge and skills:
- General mechanics.
- Proficiency in office automation tools and basic knowledge of database management.
- Notions of prompting (queries sent to generative AI) and advanced use of AI (assistants, agents).
- Soft Skills: Curiosity, team spirit, good written and oral communication, adaptability, autonomy.
Languages:
- French: Fluent
- English: Intermediate
Depending on the opportunities, you may be required to travel to one of our sites in France.
