IT Systems Engineer - Junior
Leonardo, a global industrial group renowned for its technological capabilities in global security, is seeking a Junior IT Systems Engineer to join the Field Services function within its Electronics Business Area. This role is based in one of our key locations: Grottaglie, Napoli Fusaro, or Roma Tiburtina.
As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating networks for the processing, storage, and sharing of data received from RADAR/sensors/voice & data COMMS. You will also work closely with clients to agree on test plans and execute technical acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate networks for data processing, storage, and sharing from RADAR/sensors/voice & data COMMS.
- Concord with clients on test plans and execute technical acceptance testing.
- Analyze system performance and define actions to restore nominal performance where necessary.
- Analyze and resolve anomalies and technical issues, identifying causes and proposing effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Junior seniority level.
- Technical Skills: Networking, routing and communication protocols, database management, programming (especially C++ and Java, HTML), system architecture, virtual environments, cluster OS, Linux and Windows Server OS.
- Behavioral Competencies: Reliability, autonomy, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, proactivity, adaptability.
- Language Skills: Written and spoken English – minimum B1 level.
- IT Competencies: Windows and Linux OS, VMware, MATLAB, Wireshark.
- Other: Driving license type B.
Candidates must be available for frequent and continuous national and international business travel.
