Simulation and Modelling Engineer - Graduate Programme 2027
Modelling modern weapon systems presents unique challenges. As a model developer, you will work with highly sophisticated models, comprising multiple interdependent subsystems, to accurately represent weapon systems in real-world engagements. This role demands intuition and innovation to solve new and exciting problems.
System modelling is crucial for MBDA to deliver reliable and cost-effective weapon systems. We build dynamic system performance models, embedded systems, and real-time models for MBDA products. These models are used throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to in-service support.
Internally, our performance models help system designers estimate performance and guide product design. For customers, these models verify system performance, reducing reliance on expensive testing. Our real-time models support pilot training environments and engineering testing capabilities. Post-service, customers use our models to understand system capability and aid operator training.
Models of modern weapon systems are composed of numerous automated subsystems integrated to provide overall capability. This requires a deep understanding of complex interactions and dynamics.

Dynamic working:
