The opportunity:
You'll be joining a department with a team of highly skilled and competent Weapon System Architects working across the breadth of MBDA UK's current and future weapon systems. The department is focussed on growth and developing a team of high-performing experienced System Architects, comfortable working in the problem space. Using architecture principles, tools and techniques to provide technical solutions for projects from very early in their development lifecycle, operating in the solution space. You will be a member of the STRATUS LO project team, reporting to and working closely with the STRATUS LO Weapon System Architecture Lead.
You'll be working on a key multi-national (UK, France and Italy) next generation cruise-missile weapon system development project for MBDA. With challenging technical scope and delivery timescales, but with agile thinking and innovative lifecycle engineering, architecting and model-based systems engineering approaches in place to meet those challenges. A real opportunity to live MBDA's values, contribute to the success of the project and develop into a skilled and competent MBDA Weapon System Architect.
What we're looking for:
A Systems Engineer/Architect with an understanding of complex systems (ideally Weapon/Missile Systems).
