QinetiQ is seeking three Senior Project Controllers to manage project controls throughout the lifecycle, from planning and monitoring to analysis and reporting, contributing to cutting-edge defence technology.

About the Role
As a Senior Project Controller, you will be fully responsible and accountable for project controls throughout the entire project lifecycle. This involves meticulous planning, diligent monitoring, and effective control of project performance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Scheduling: Maintain project schedules, including resource management. Proactively collaborate with Resource Managers and Project Managers to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Cost Planning and Control: Manage actual and forecast costs against budget. Update plans in line with change control, evaluate cost variances, highlight areas of underperformance, and propose recovery actions to ensure project performance remains on track.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and report data to provide a complete and accurate picture. This will inform decisions regarding the management, quality, and control of projects, offering clear information and certainty on schedule, cost, and risk position.
- Performance Management: Ensure governance requirements and processes are followed as documented in the BMS and the Project Management Knowledge NetworQ.
Essential Experience:
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of project controls, understanding the full project lifecycle.
- Plans, monitors, and controls projects and/or processes, working independently with no supervision.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of lifecycles and experience applying one or more independently – Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
Desirable Qualifications:
- ECITB Certificate in Project Controls or demonstrate working towards it.
- APMG Project Planning & Control (PPC) Practitioner qualification.
