Security Manager

As a Security Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring the effective management of physical security, classified information, and compliance with government security requirements across the site. This high-profile leadership position directly contributes to national security, protects critical infrastructure, and facilitates the successful delivery of defence programmes. You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, influence strategic decisions, and lead security operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of physical security across the Rosyth Business Park site.
- Advise management teams on the interpretation and implementation of security requirements for classified contracts.
- Manage systems and processes designed to protect classified documents, materials, and sensitive information.
- Oversee the Security and Emergency Response Team to ensure an effective and efficient security service.
- Coordinate visitor management services and site-wide security activities while maintaining compliance with government standards.
This is a full-time, permanent role based onsite at Rosyth, working Monday to Friday with a half-day on Friday.
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience working with Government security standards.
- Previous experience operating within a highly regulated environment subject to legislation and compliance requirements.
- A minimum of five years' experience in a relevant security management or security leadership role.
- Experience managing physical security operations, personnel, or contracted security services.
- Experience interpreting and implementing security policies within defence, government, or similarly regulated industries.
Qualifications:
- Appropriate degree-level qualification in Physical Security.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
