About the Role

You will join the Test Center domain within the engineering organization, becoming part of an integrated team with a comprehensive view of test equipment definition and installation. Airbus conducts ground and flight tests to verify and validate designs before certification for its new developments and major modifications. The test equipment community is a key engineering area within Airbus, adopting an end-to-end approach encompassing specification, design, and construction. The team you will join is responsible for defining ground and flight test equipment in Toulouse.
Your Missions:
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include providing operational support to the design office concerning Process, Methods, and Tools, particularly for functional electrical design activities. You will also serve as the Process, Methods, and Tools focal point for the specification, testing, and deployment of new solutions, with a strong transnational approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to the functional electrical team in their daily work, addressing Process, Methods, and Tools challenges.
- Serve as the focal point for all functional electrical design tools, spanning across all programs and national entities (cross NatCos).
- Participate in the deployment of new Airbus tools within various teams (design, business, etc.).
- Act as a business representative in digital transformation projects.
- Become a reference for the use of functional electrical design tools.
- Gather requirements to support the creation of new tools.
These activities are supported by an established Process, Methods, and Tools team of 3 individuals. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a multifunctional team working across all programs with a high level of autonomy.

Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of tool development and solid project management experience.
- Fluency in English is required for this international environment. French is mandatory.
- Knowledge of global Functional Electrical is appreciated (can also be acquired within the team).
- Familiarity with programming for occasional scripts to optimize repetitive tasks is a plus.
