About the Role
Northrop Grumman UK is seeking a motivated Proposal Coordinator to join our dynamic Business Development team in Cheltenham. This is a critical role supporting a period of significant growth and opportunity, reporting directly to the Head of Bids. You will provide essential operational assistance to the wider BD, Capture, and Bid teams, with a specific focus on managing frameworks, proposal development, data analysis, reporting, and competitive intelligence.

What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for frameworks and call-offs, ensuring compliance through liaison with internal and external teams.
- Drive the generation of non-complex/call-off proposals, establishing structure, timelines, and task allocation to subject matter experts.
- Monitor proposal team contributions to ensure high-quality, competitive, and market-differentiating offers.
- Manage key in-process proposal submission reviews.
- Ensure adherence to the business acquisition process.
- Gather, analyse, and report on data to provide actionable intelligence and strategic insights.
- Champion collaboration, improvement, and best practices using internal tools and processes.
- Support clear and concise reporting from systems like Salesforce and SAP, ensuring data validity.
- Assist other BD functions as needed, including graphic design, writing, and content management.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience:
- Operating within formal tendering processes and using procurement portals (e.g., Award, Bravo).
- Creating and delivering clear progress reporting.
- Experience in government or defence sectors.
- Research, data collection, and analysis skills.
- Demonstrable experience in product and service bid documentation.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a UK national and able to gain and maintain UK Government security clearance (SC or eligible).
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- This position requires 3 days per week onsite in Cheltenham.
