Project Assurance Manager (Junior)
Leonardo, a global industrial group in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, is looking for a Project Assurance Manager for its Electronics Business Area at the Rome Tiburtina site. This role is within the Quality Function, supporting the Land & Sea Business Area, specifically on naval projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Project Assurance Manager (PAM) will be an integral part of the Integrated Project Team (IPT) and will be responsible for:
- Managing all Quality Assurance aspects of the project, ensuring adherence to company processes, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Developing project-specific Quality documentation.
- Reviewing and approving program/product/project documentation.
- Participating in product Verification and Validation activities, both internally, at suppliers', and at client sites.
- Managing client and supplier relationships from a Quality Assurance perspective.
- Conducting internal and supplier audits.
- Managing product and sub-supply non-conformities, initiating and managing Root Cause Analysis Boards.
- Issuing Declarations of Conformity.
- Participating in configuration management and non-conformity management boards.
- Overseeing internal dry runs and formal acceptance testing with the client.
- Supporting the definition of program/product specific processes in line with contractual requirements and their potential tailoring.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Degree in Engineering or other technical field.
- Seniority: Junior.
- Experience (Plus): Experience in program/product Quality Assurance or System Quality (standards management and auditing).
- Technical Skills:
- Technical expertise for managing the Product and Program/Project Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of Quality Management System standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100).
- Understanding of production processes.
- Behavioral Competencies: Ability to operate in complex organizational contexts, problem-solving, analytical skills, effective communication, mediation skills, results orientation, and attention to detail.
- Languages: Good written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
