Role Overview
This permanent role at Airbus Helicopters España, SA focuses on managing the entire preparation and execution process for all Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) works for helicopters and components. The objective is to lead the definition and implementation of corrective and improvement actions to ensure deliveries are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, incorporating lessons learned.
Main Responsibilities
As Technical Office:
- Elaborate and update master documentation for Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Life limits, etc., for helicopters and components, and analyze them for implementation in work packages.
- Elaborate and update internal production procedures.
As Focal Point During Works:
- Responsible for releasing work orders, instructions, and/or work packages (customized with applicable tasks, SBs, ADs, etc.) to the workshop, meeting the required quality level and customer needs according to AHE procedures.
- Monitor all work processes at AHE in coordination with Workshops and Production.
- Ensure aircraft delivery by complying with all applicable regulations, rules, and procedures (internal and external), especially for over and above and non-programmed tasks.
- Manage Visual Management Information panels.
- Act as the internal (AHE) and external (Customer) focal point for offers and over and above subjects.
- Serve as the internal (AHE) and external (Customer) focal point for defining technical requirements and controlling customer needs.
- In coordination with Production, be responsible for tasks scheduling.
- Supervise technical records of works (internal and external documents).
- Responsible for supplying all necessary documentation to the Quality Department for DAAV (Disposition Authority for Airworthiness Verification) and CoC (Certificate of Conformity).
- Responsible for obtaining all necessary documentation to renew the Airworthiness Certificate, when applicable.
- Certify works when applicable, for civil (CPS) or military (CApt) certifications.
- Participate and collaborate with S&S Programmes for cost control and follow-up of works.
- Elaborate reports, when necessary, detailing data and deviations of finished works concerning technical aspects, costs, and schedule.
Other Functions:
- Participate in and lead internal and external audits, following up on and implementing corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in MRO and participate in their development.
- Collaborate with other AHE Departments as required.
