Product Assurance Manager - Onesat Programme
Airbus Defence and Space Limited is seeking a Product Assurance Manager to join a small, collaborative Assurance team responsible for the groundbreaking Onesat programme. Onesat is the world's first software-defined satellite, offering full reconfiguration capabilities for diverse customers including telecommunications, government, and military sectors. This permanent, full-time role is based in Portsmouth, with hybrid working arrangements (1 day from home per week) and is open to STEM returners.

Your contribution to the team:
- Manage Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Non-Review Board (NRB) activity, coordinating customer engagement for major non-conformances.
- Support the entire product lifecycle, from Kick-Off to Test Review Board / Delivery Review Board.
- Coordinate and manage the Product Assurance Plan, Non Conformance Analysis, Consolidated Action Plan, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) key business deliverables.
- Ensure the communication and implementation of customer requirements, including safety and reliability, across operational processes (develop, fulfil, support, and source).
- Collect, analyse, visualise, and interpret performance data, focusing on optimisation and automating data reports.
About you:
- Product Assurance experience within the Space, Aerospace, RF, or Digital equipment sectors.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and proactive work style.
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma / APQP principles.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with complex interdependencies, willing to seek support from the wider team.
