Process Engineering Manager
At Cavendish Nuclear, we are creating a safe and secure world. Join us as a Process Engineering Manager at our Warrington or Preston sites and play a vital role in shaping the future of nuclear infrastructure.
The Role
As a Process Engineering Manager, you will provide leadership across complex engineering programmes, guiding projects from concept and design through to delivery and commissioning. This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working patterns available, expecting three days per week on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction and delivery.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and project teams to resolve complex technical and delivery challenges.
- Ensure engineering outputs comply with quality, safety, regulatory, and technical assurance requirements.
- Develop engineering capability through mentoring, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex process-led projects.
- Strong background within chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil and gas, or similarly regulated industries.
- Experience managing engineering projects through the full lifecycle from concept and design to commissioning and delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple disciplines.
- Experience applying engineering governance, safety, quality, and technical assurance standards within complex environments.
Qualifications:
- Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional registration.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
