Methods Preparer - AIRFRAME H160/H175 H/F
Embark on your adventure with a world-leading, digitally focused company at the forefront of research and innovation. Airbus Helicopters in Marignane has an exciting opportunity for an Airframe Methods Preparer specializing in the H160/H175 models.
Role Overview:
This position requires a comprehensive approach, managing new installations and modifications across the perimeter with a focus on cost, quality, timeline, and safety. You will pilot industrialization efforts, including budget control, and collaborate closely with the design office to validate definitions and prototypes. A key aspect of this role is to ensure that modifications are implemented with minimal disruption to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee industrialization projects, including budget management and launch of tooling after risk assessment.
- Collaborate with the design office, critique and validate definitions, and manage 3D mock-ups.
- Define and create assembly operations following program standards.
- Support workshops and participate in initial assemblies to ensure industrialization maturity.
- Manage deviations and oversee resolution processes.
- Pilot improvement projects and ensure seamless support to production.
- Manage STL/Datapack and supplier relations, including potential activity transfers.
- Contribute to collaborative design and industrialization efforts, integrating best manufacturing practices and standardization.
- Define manufacturing processes, calculate standard operation times, and manage technical sequencing.
- Specify industrial needs for equipment and tooling.
- Oversee the implementation of first installations with feedback loops.
- Create and update assembly ranges, component lists, and work instructions.
- Ensure robust, reliable, and safe operations, and support risk analyses.
- Contribute to quality plans and supply chain management for data consistency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, production planning, and economic aspects.
- Communicate effectively with production teams and participate in cross-functional project teams.
- Support continuous improvement by providing methods expertise and optimizing production processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in assembly preparation, including reading plans and bills of materials (ATA 100).
- Technical knowledge of assembly processes, tooling, and means.
- Experience with CATIA for view and section creation; CATIA design skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP, Wiplink, Delmia, NCM, MES, or similar preparation tools.
- Technical curiosity and understanding of product development processes.
- Rigorous, reactive, and committed to following standards.
- Knowledge of elementary parts manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of H175/H160/Super Puma processes is a significant asset.
- English language proficiency is necessary for communication with China during activity transfer.
