About the Role
Cavendish Nuclear is seeking experienced Pipefitter Supervisors to join our team at the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. This is a key role in building the UK's clean energy future and offers a chance to trade up your career. You will play a pivotal role in constructing the UK's first-ever 3rd generation nuclear power plant, shaping a sustainable future.
Working within the MEH Alliance, you will collaborate effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems. You will provide and demonstrate positive frontline HSE leadership, supporting and encouraging a positive Nuclear Safety Culture. Your role will involve guiding the team to achieve high productivity while prioritizing safety, ensuring efficient project completion, and identifying areas for improvement.
You will effectively transmit instructions, specifications, and regulations to support optimal team performance and guarantee adherence to all statutory, company, industry, and client requirements, delivering the agreed work scope within the established timeframe.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter Supervisor within an engineering project.
- Proven track record in nuclear power is preferred.
- Experience working on major construction projects.
- Relevant Skills Card (where required).
Qualifications
- Relevant Professional Accreditation (NVQ or Diploma Level 3 Relevant Discipline).
- Must have a CCNSG Safety Passport.
- LATS, SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely.
