Role Overview

An exciting opportunity is available within the Complex Warhead Centre of Excellence (CW CofEx), specifically in the Warhead Modelling & Simulation Group, for a Warheads Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise a spectrum of modelling and engineering tools to conduct concept analysis, design evolution, and performance assessment across a varied portfolio.
  • Support design and development programmes by working with a multi-disciplined team in the UK and France, customers, partners, and suppliers across Europe, and external teams within MBDA.
  • On a day-to-day basis, support business winning and the delivery of Complex Warhead programmes and delegated work packages, including key projects and research tasks.
  • Conduct modelling using a varied toolset to analyse concepts, evolve designs, and produce performance assessments whilst defining, handling, and delivering work packages and subcontracts.
  • Be involved in progress reporting, scheduling, cost control, risk management, import/export control, and logistics.
  • Work collaboratively with the integrated design team and trials team to assess and inform design evolution and trial configuration to produce performance predictions.

What We Can Offer You

  • Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience.
  • Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
