About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic graduates to join us as Mechanical Missile Architects, playing a crucial role in designing systems that will shape the future. You will bridge the gap between customer requirements and the product development process, establishing coherent top-level missile designs and delivering verification and validation strategies.
What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Missile Architect, you will be an integral part of our missile product teams, contributing across all stages of the missile lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the equipment design process.
- Performing risk analysis, supplier down-select, and performance trade studies.
- Developing and managing equipment verification and validation processes.
- Ensuring the on-quality, on-schedule, and on-cost delivery of supplier hardware through project management.
- Collaborating with a wide range of technical functions to achieve project delivery.
You will gain valuable experience working on allocated projects, potentially at any stage of the design lifecycle, and interacting with various departments within MBDA.
