Mechanical and Climatic Engineer - Graduate Programme 2027
Mechanical and Climatic Engineers are crucial in ensuring MBDA products can survive and operate as required throughout their in-service use by customers. In this role, you will be involved in specifying instrumentation and acquisition systems for data gathering trials. You will also conduct trials at external sites in close proximity to customer platforms, as well as performing testing, modelling, and data analysis to verify product compliance with set requirements.
This is a challenging, dynamic role that offers exposure to the full range of MBDA products, supported by a collaborative team environment.

The Opportunity:
As a Mechanical and Climatic Engineer in Environmental Engineering & Facilities (EE&F), you will experience a wide variety of challenging technical projects. This includes hands-on work where you can influence real-world engineering decisions, strategies, and designs.
The scheme is structured into four six-month placements, with three placements within EE&F and one external to the department. Within EE&F, you will gain experience across all three of our domains: the Test, Trials and Analysis Team, and Projects Teams. You will work on a diverse range of products at various stages of the development cycle, as well as supporting in-service products.
Each EE&F domain placement will enable you to gain valuable experience and develop your technical and core skills. You will collaborate with partners both within and external to MBDA. Through mentoring, you will be given responsibility for delivering substantive tasks from the outset of the programme, with the aim of developing you into an independent and trusted engineer by the programme's conclusion.
