About the Role:
Join the MBDA team as a Manufacturing Test Engineer on our Graduate Programme, and become a key player in upholding our top-notch manufacturing standards. You'll collaborate with expert engineers across the UK, working with a range of cutting-edge technologies including electronics, optics, and RF. Your hands-on approach, combined with office-based technical work, will see you play a pivotal role in maintaining MBDA's manufacturing excellence.
From drafting drawings to introducing new equipment, process improvements are at the heart of what you'll do. You will contribute to the successful testing and programming of complex systems, supporting the manufacturing process throughout the entire build cycle, from sub-systems to the final product for launch platforms and weapon systems. We support the testing and programming of systems, from circuit cards through to missiles, working with varied technologies including, but not limited to, electronics, mechatronics, optics and RF.
What You Will Do:
- Work within a dynamic team of experienced engineers, supporting a variety of equipment.
- Gain invaluable experience learning from diverse engineering expertise throughout your graduate scheme.
- Undertake three placements, each with a different team, to broaden your understanding and skill set.
- Collaborate closely with other functions such as Product Design and Test Equipment Design.
- Play a crucial role in testing and programming complex systems.
- Contribute to process improvements and the introduction of new equipment.
Programme Details:
- 2-year Programme starting September 2027.
- Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: Typically 90% on-site, with options for remote work as the role permits.
