About the Role
Join a newly formed, small team at MBDA Bolton focused on transforming defect detection and correction within Circuit Card Assembly manufacturing. You will become an expert in Flying Probe Manufacturing Data Analysis, utilizing state-of-the-art Flying Probe test equipment to identify faults rapidly and enhance the fault investigation process for test engineering teams.
We are seeking a motivated and organized individual who can work both independently and collaboratively. Essential skills include a background in Electronic Engineering, keen attention to detail, and a methodical approach to test development. While not essential, any existing knowledge of Flying Probe systems, particularly SPEA systems, would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new Flying Probe test packages using the SPEA 4050S2 test system, following a documented development process.
- Deliver timely test package corrections.
- Work on improvements related to test time, test coverage, and the reliability of Flying Probe systems.
- Diagnose faults down to component level and propose remedial actions to maintain high product quality.
- Collaborate with experienced manufacturing test engineers.
