Logistics Operative

This role within our Aviation business offers an exciting opportunity to directly contribute to critical defence operations. You will ensure the efficient flow of equipment, spares, and consumables, guaranteeing that the right resources are available when needed. Your responsibilities will include managing stock, supporting deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records, all while developing valuable logistics and supply chain skills within a respected global organisation.
The Role
You will be part of a collaborative stores and logistics team responsible for the storage, distribution, and control of equipment and materials. Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Maintain the safe storage, receipt, issue, and control of equipment, spares, and consumables.
- Utilise inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock and asset records.
- Support delivery and collection activities across the site.
- Assist with stocktaking, auditing, and inventory management activities.
- Process disposals and materials in accordance with established procedures.
This is a full-time, permanent position of 37.5 hours per week, based at RAF Northolt.
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrable experience working within a logistics, stores, warehouse, or similar operational environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
