Landing Gear Engineering is a vital part of the Systems Centre of Competence (CoC), ensuring excellence in Landing Gear definition, integration, industrialisation, and in-service support for Airbus Commercial. This is a complex and multi-skilled domain with numerous business interfaces, customers, and suppliers, all crucial for delivering programmes on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

What You Will Be Doing

You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced business management team on a broad scope of topics, including:

• Financial / Workload Planning
• Resource Management
• Project & Performance Management
• Change Management
• People Development / Competence Development

This role demands strong business or project management and analytical skills to effectively support the Business Operations team. You may be required to collaborate with teams across various Airbus functions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the wider business beyond Landing Gear. You will have the chance to collaborate on or lead improvement projects, as well as work autonomously throughout your internship. The specific work will be tailored to your previous experience, interests, and development needs to maximise your contribution to the business.

Requirements

This placement is open to Undergraduates only. It is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the entire duration of the placement. Please indicate your graduation date in your application.

Security Clearance

You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. Depending on the specific role requirements, you may also need to obtain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control clearance.
