General Dynamics Mission Systems, a leader in high technology solutions for the defence sector, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team in St Leonards-on-Sea. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be a crucial partner to business leaders, providing strategic guidance and driving impactful initiatives to foster a high-performance, innovative culture. Day-to-Day Activities:
- Partner with leaders to offer expertise in employee relations, performance management, and strategic resource planning.
- Drive initiatives that promote a high-performance culture and enhance leadership capabilities.
- Coach and mentor managers to improve their leadership effectiveness and HR navigation skills.
- Lead key talent management initiatives.
- Manage complex HR cases and change initiatives, balancing strategic goals with positive employee outcomes.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience: Proven HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist experience in a complex, fast-paced setting.
- Education: A degree in Business, HR, or a related field; a CIPD qualification is advantageous.
- Expertise: Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policy design, and strategic HR delivery.
- Skills:
- Influential communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with analytical and project management capabilities.
- Confident advisory and coaching skills with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Oracle).
- Background in supporting organizational change and people transformation initiatives.
What We Offer:
This role offers a salary range of £56,000 to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, along with a flexible benefits package and a bonus.
