Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer

Are you an experienced Electronics Design Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? MBDA is seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to join our Analogue and Digital Capability Group based in Stevenage. In this vital position, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering impeccable electronic designs for our advanced defence products.

This role offers a dynamic and flexible working arrangement, typically requiring 2 to 3 days per week on-site due to workload classification. We may also be able to offer a relocation package for the successful candidate.

The Opportunity:

  • Take on all aspects of board-level electronic design, including schematic capture, prototyping, functional testing, and proving activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with other Electronic Engineering teams to ensure the seamless integration of electronics within the product.
  • Utilise common development techniques such as circuit simulation and DFMEA to ensure robust electronics design.
  • Support the product life cycle from feasibility through to transfer to production, including industrial validation and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to research and continuous improvement activities to enhance the Electronic Engineering capability within the group.

  • Proven experience in electronic design, development, and delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and navigate challenges.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products.

  • Salary: Circa £42,000 - £48,000 depending upon experience.
