About the Role
The Broughton based Industrial Academy develops and delivers world-class training for our customers in Operations. We take great pride in our ability to coach and up-skill colleagues, enabling them to build the world’s finest Wings! You’ll be working with a passionate and highly motivated team with a wealth of knowledge covering production processes, lean tools/systems, manufacturing engineering, and planning/logistics. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues based in France, Germany, Spain, and the US.
What You Will Be Doing
Teamwork and effective communication are key skills that will be developed during this internship. You’ll be working on exciting projects as we prepare for the future, exploring innovative training methods and the skills needed to build the aircraft of tomorrow!
- Support the review and development of learning solutions.
- Take advantage of new ways of teaching, for example, digital means.
- Take part in meetings with colleagues, managers, and internal customers.
- Support the delivery of practical training in our workshops.
- We welcome your ideas for continuous improvement.
Requirements
This placement is open to Undergraduates only and it is mandatory to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.
Your application should include a CV and a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Enrolled in an HR/business administration degree or a related technical degree.
- Google Suite knowledge.
- Enthusiasm and a strong interest in developing yourself.
- STEM subject qualifications are preferable, along with the desire to work in a technical team environment.
Security Clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
