Front of House and Campus Administration
Boeing is seeking an individual to provide a first-class, front-of-house service for all customers and visitors to the Campus. This role also encompasses various campus-related administration tasks.
Customer Liaison
- Meet and greet campus visitors, including checking in those attending simulator training, classroom delegates, contractors, and other visitors.
- Provide directions to appropriate areas within the facilities and share information regarding Health & Safety and weekly fire alarm testing.
- Operate the reception switchboard, efficiently handling customer enquiries and connecting them to the appropriate person.
- Manage the Boeing Store till at the front desk, processing transactions and replenishing/ordering stock.
- Prepare badges and paperwork for the following day's visitors and students.
Security
- Conduct initial ID checks for all visitors and issue security badges with the correct access.
- Operate the main car park barrier system using CCTV.
- Ensure the security system is used in line with IT requirements.
- Oversee locker and centre keys.
- Assist with weekly fire drills and safety testing.
- Liaise with Security Guards at the end of the evening shift to ensure they have necessary information for their night shift.
General/Internal Relationships
- Handle all internal enquiries and requests received via the group email inbox or telephone in a timely manner.
- Check briefing rooms and classrooms, providing necessary stationery and reporting any faults or problems.
- Oversee and monitor stationery for the Centre, ensuring competitive quotations are obtained when ordering and replenishing stock.
- Raise purchase orders, request taxis, and perform general filing duties.
- Sort and distribute incoming post and manage the daily outgoing post collection, including signing for deliveries.
- Each shift will conclude with a documented handover for the next team member.
- Perform other general administrative duties as required.
Centre Related Activities
- Prepare Visa invitation letters as requested for relevant Embassies, follow up the process with the customer, and ensure all information is documented in the correct systems.
- Assist in training new members of staff.
- Manage the collection of student names for upcoming pilot and cabin crew training.
Experience & Education
- Proven front-of-house customer-support related experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to cope under pressure, provide a professional service at all times, and work unsupervised while also being a team player.
- Seek opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
- Proven working knowledge and understanding of Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Reader, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn in-house systems.
- Aviation training experience is preferred.
- College-related studies are desired.
Shift Pattern
This position operates on a shift rotation basis (Monday-Friday):
- Shift one: 07:00-15:30
- Shift two: 07:30-16:00
- Shift three: 10:30-19:00

Relocation
This position does not offer relocation assistance. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
