About the Role
Join MBDA UK Ltd as a Senior Logistics Inspection Associate and play a crucial part in upholding our high standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring that all goods received from suppliers meet the exact criteria of the purchase order and are compliant in all respects. Key Responsibilities
- Verify and accept procured products in line with contractual conditions.
- Examine the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing, painting, or deterioration of surfaces.
- Undertake first article inspections.
- Produce relevant inspection/quality control documentation.
- Check and complete all paperwork associated with delivered articles.
- Ensure inspection service level agreements are met in line with manufacturing demand.
- Control defect items by segregating them from good product and raise/maintain relevant defect reports.
- Maintain the product verification approval process via regular audits.
- Inspect PCBs.
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
- Maintain the highest levels of workmanship standards and product quality.
- Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard) OR
- Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.) OR
- Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ) - *Not required if a L3 apprenticeship is held*
- Practiced in reading and understanding assembly drawings.

- Salary: Circa £40,000
- Working Arrangement: Dynamic (hybrid) working, 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
- Security Clearance: Requires HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks after offer stage. Must be a British Citizen or Dual National; restrictions/limitations may apply.
