About the Role

Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK), as part of the OMNIA Training consortium, is seeking a dedicated Government Furnished Asset (GFA) Manager. This pivotal role is responsible for the comprehensive management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and company assets across the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS) programme. You will play a fundamental role in enabling the success of the OMNIA Training mission, ensuring that all GFA issued to REUK is managed appropriately and in line with Defence standards.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Maintain and update the Rheinmetall Public Stores Account (PSA) in accordance with DEF STAN 099 and DEFCON 694.
  • Oversee the delivery, receipt, inspection, acceptance, rejection and return of GFA using MOD Forms (e.g. 650, 651, 750).
  • Produce company procedures and processes for handling GFA, including managing loss, status and disposal reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Omnia GFA Lead, Site Custodians, customer representatives and supply chain partners to ensure accurate asset tracking and accountability.
  • Provide input into obsolescence management activities.
  • Work with the Export Manager to ensure compliance with export control regulations.
  • Work with the commercial and subcontract managers to ensure compliance with IP governance requirements.
  • Oversee asset audits and reporting.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in asset management.
  • In-depth understanding of MOD GFA DEFCON and DEFSTANs.
  • Experience of managing a Public Stores Account and MOD documentation.
  • Proficiency in using asset management tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving and correction abilities.
