FPGA Design & Verification Engineer (m/f)
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an FPGA Design & Verification Engineer to join the Electronics Products Department within the Avionics and Simulation Products domain in Toulouse, France. This is an entry-level, permanent position in a dynamic and rapidly growing sector of aircraft systems.
About the Role:
The Avionics and Simulation domain is a key internal supplier of avionics equipment and simulators. The Electronics Product Department is responsible for the design, development, industrialization, manufacturing, maintenance, and support of critical embedded products for all Airbus aircraft.
As part of the hardware detailed design team, this role focuses on the design and verification of Programmable Logic Devices (PLD) embedded in the digital boards of avionics computers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of PLD sub-function development within a team, with a strong emphasis on verification.
- Contribute to electronics Research & Development (R&D).
- Propose innovative ideas in the FPGA field to drive continuous improvement in this core technical area.
- Execute activities on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Your Profile:
- Academic knowledge of FPGA design and verification flows, including basic UVM knowledge.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VHDL, C/Assembleur, SystemC, XML, Python, and SystemVerilog.
- Experience with tools like Modelsim/Questa, Synplify, and Matlab/Simulink.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in integrated, multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated autonomy, team spirit, rigor, and leadership potential.
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics.
- Advanced level of French and intermediate level of English.
- This position requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
