This placement offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate engineering students to spend a year immersed in the world of advanced engineering and technology at Babcock.
You will gain invaluable hands-on experience across various functions, including technical departments, project management, and production teams. Specialise in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical Control and Instrumentation, Systems, Integrated Product Support, or Software Engineering. Work on diverse projects, from designing and manufacturing complex systems like Weapon Handling and Launch Systems (WHLS) and Air Turbine Pumps (ATP), to contributing to military communications, space, and satellite operations.

What you’ll need:
- Currently studying an engineering degree.
- Ability to achieve and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance. Note that eligibility for certain programmes may be impacted by place of birth, nationality, citizenship, or residency.
