About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Electronic Architect to join MBDA and contribute to the development of our world-class, precision product range. As part of the Electronic Engineering function, you will have the chance to actively participate in research and development activities, shaping future strategies and roadmaps for our Electronic Products and solutions!

What the role involves:

  • Defining the electronic and electrical architecture of the equipment.
  • Conducting analysis and decomposition to lower-level requirements for sub-elements.
  • Ensuring that challenging customer requirements are met within the constraints of limited physical space and harsh operating environments.
  • Working closely with the Engineering Project Manager to manage all technical elements of Electronic Equipment's.
  • Ensuring impeccable 'On Time, On Cost, On Quality' delivery of the technical solution.

What we're looking for:

  • Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent) with an Electronics bias.
  • Significant experience in digital electronics and microprocessor systems.
  • Significant experience in power electronics for distributed power networks.
  • Significant experience in the design of electronic equipment.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong influencing skills, leadership qualities, and a comprehensive understanding of customers' requirements.
  • Drive, proactivity, and the ability to make decisions and adjust in a constantly evolving and ambitious setting.

Additional Information:

Location: Stevenage (relocation package may be available).

Dynamic (hybrid) working: MBDA offers flexibility around hours and location, allowing individuals to agree with their teams where and when they can be most effective. This role can accommodate full-time or part-time arrangements.

Security Clearance: Candidates must be British Citizens or Dual UK nationals with British citizenship. All successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks after an offer is made.
