Programme title: Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Placement Year
Join Babcock's Submarine Support Engineering (SSE) team for a 12-month undergraduate placement focused on Electrical Engineering. You will be instrumental in maintaining in-service submarines and providing technical engineering support to the Ministry of Defence, gaining exposure to a diverse range of engineering challenges, from defence engineering to complex nuclear projects.
This placement offers the chance to apply your academic knowledge to practical, real-world scenarios. What you'll need:
- Currently studying towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Instrumentation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Aerospace, Avionics, or Software. Preference for degrees accredited by the relevant institution.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance.
- Under applicable national security legislation, this post may only be occupied by a sole UK national.
