Design Assurance Engineer and Configuration
Leonardo, a global leader in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, is seeking a Design Assurance Engineer and Configuration specialist to join our Engineering team. You will be responsible for avionics equipment such as distribution units, display units, and control units, ensuring they comply with international standards like DO-254.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement procedures and methods for certifying avionics equipment.
- Analyze customer requirements and compile corresponding compliance matrices.
- Manage the configuration aspects of parts and sub-parts.
- Write and update certification plans.
- Compile equipment configurations using TcUPLM.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum of 1-3 years (Junior) or 3-5 years (Expert) of experience.
- Good written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Organized, systematic approach to reporting.
- Excellent time and priority management.
- Proactive, flexible, and available for international and national business travel.
