Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Immenstaad, Germany. As an integral part of Airbus Defence and Space, our business unit comprises over 1300 cyber experts across Europe, leveraging over 30 years of experience in protecting complex systems and networks.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As an Engineer, you will be a key member of the Airbus Defence and Space Cyber Center of Competence, responsible for the sustainable, future-oriented, and continuous improvement of information security levels. Your tasks will include:
- In close collaboration with the Cyber Security Architect, you will create and update information security concepts and other security-relevant documents (policies, guidelines) according to the current BSI IT-Grundschutz.
- Advise all relevant stakeholders on technical, procedural, and organizational information security topics.
- Participate in internal and external workshops and meetings on information security, as well as undertake business trips to clients within project frameworks.
Your Profile and Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
- A successfully completed university degree (Bachelor, Master) in Information Security, Informatics, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a comparable field.
- Ideally, 2 years of specialized, practical professional experience in IT / Information Security and in advising on IT-Grundschutz requirements.
- Knowledge of tools for modeling information security requirements (SAVe, Verinice, HiScout Grundschutz, or other ISMS tools) is advantageous.
- Desirable certifications include BSI IT-Grundschutz Practitioner or similar information security certifications.
- Enthusiasm for driving information security within projects.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a desire to create a trusting work environment.
- Very good communication skills in German and English (negotiation level).
