Manufacturing Engineering Activities Coordinator (H/F)
Airbus Operations SAS is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineering Activities Coordinator to join the Commercial Aircraft business unit. You will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Department, specifically within the Electrical Unit - Rework Electric Center (REC), based in Toulouse, France.
Within the Manufacturing Engineering for Rework Electrical Center organization, you will work at the heart of a multiprogramme ecosystem (A320, A330, A350 families) and a highly reactive multi-environment setting, including assembly lines, the Saint-Eloi factory (Masts), and the Customer Line & Delivery Center. Our primary mission is to manage and secure technical solutions for all non-serial outstanding work (OSW) concerning electrical harnesses. To support the ramp-up of the A350 program, our department is undergoing a significant transformation.

Your Challenges:
1. Management of the ME Transformation Plan & Insourcing (40% of the mission)
- Transformation Strategy: Lead the roadmap towards A350 rate increase by securing skill transfer.
- Change Management: Support the cultural evolution of the department, facilitate transitions for internal teams, and redefine the scope of our partners.
- Standardisation: Modernise and freeze our ME processes to ensure the repeatability of interventions on assembly lines and at the Saint-Eloi factory.
2. Backup for the Service Manager (30% of the mission)
- Interim Management & Governance: Ensure full interim management responsibilities in Airbus decision-making bodies and assembly line crisis rituals.
- Managerial Culture: Lead the team daily, embodying our values: transparency, kindness, constructive frankness, and valuing the right to make mistakes as a learning opportunity.
3. Contractual Governance & Load/Capacity Adequacy (30% of the mission)
- Ecosystem Management: Monitor external provider performance, validate Work Units, and manage operational budgets (Cost vs. Progress).
- Capacity Management: Anticipate capacity needs and secure Turn Around Time (TAT) in a context of strong growth in Work Orders (WO).
Your Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years in a demanding industrial environment (Aeronautics / Automotive / Space), with solid experience in change management, team restructuring, or skill insourcing.
- Leadership: Assertive managerial posture, excellent communication skills with stakeholders at various levels (N+1/N+2, partner account directors).
- Soft Skills: Resilience under pressure from the FAL, pragmatism, frankness, and the ability to develop the skills of a hybrid team undergoing transformation.
