About the Role
This is an exciting internship opportunity within the Operations Department at the Airbus Broughton site. You will be part of the team responsible for the build and delivery of Airbus aircraft, specifically supporting the Single Aisle Program. This program is a major contributor to Airbus's success, manufacturing over 50 wing sets per month and employing over 2,000 staff.
Integration Support:
Working alongside the Integration Manager in the Single Aisle Flowline, you will support key business projects by:
- Monitoring expenditure and developing cost-saving initiatives to support business cost performance.
- Assisting in the deployment of key projects, involving cross-functional collaboration and data analysis.
- Supporting business governance reviews and projects to ensure timely and quality delivery of milestones.
- Contributing to resource management and future planning for production ramp-up.
- Collating evidence and submitting supplier disruption claims.
- Driving and influencing change within the aircraft manufacturing environment.
- Collaborating with multi-functional teams across different business levels.
Business Development Support:
Collaborate with the Business Development Manager in the Single Aisle Flowline to shape and implement future business strategies by:
- Supporting strategy planning for business development, including digital strategy.
- Assisting in the creation and management of the Single Aisle flowline roadmap and 2025 Vision.
- Supporting Capital Expenditure project management, including international projects.
- Contributing to the implementation of large investment projects such as facility expansion and upgrades.
- Managing risks and opportunities through leading workshops and driving actions.
- Driving and influencing change within the aircraft manufacturing environment.
- Collaborating with multi-functional teams across different business levels.
Requirements

Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Current study towards a degree in Business, Project Management, Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, and Google Workspace.

Security Clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. Depending on the specific role, UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control may also be required.
