About the Role

As an Associate IT Engineer, you will be an integral part of a strong engineering team, providing essential technical support to IT projects and programmes. You will work closely with project managers and technical leads to deliver effective IT solutions.

Your day-to-day activities may span the entire lifecycle of an IT project, from initial conception through to in-service support. You will apply your skills in areas such as Design, Implementation, Integration, and Test and Evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering Hardware/Software builds and Systems Installation and Integration.
• Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with customers.
• Providing impactful outputs and pragmatic solutions, which may include Technical presentations, Technical documentation, Test plans and reports, user guides, work instructions, and Design or process documents.
• Undertaking assigned tasks with moderate guidance.

Essential Experience:

• Previous experience working in an IT engineering role.
• The ability to apply a broad range of IT concepts and principles.
• Broad experience across Windows Client/Server Infrastructure, Networking, Virtualisation (Hyper-V), and Linux.

Essential Qualifications:

• A first degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent on-the-job experience.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Farnborough facility, requiring 37 hours per week.
